Cancellation Policy:
In the case of inclement weather including lightning, high winds (above 40mph), torrential rain, extreme cold, extreme heat, or any combination of events that can create a potentially unsafe environment, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel the program. It is the responsibility of the participants to dress appropriately for the weather conditions of the current season. If Challenge Discovery staff determine that a storm is closer than 6 miles from the course (according to the University of Richmond's storm policy), participants will be directed to their vehicles or a designated building. Activity on the course will resume after 30 minutes. Staff will wait no more than 45 minutes for the storm to clear. If, at that time, the storm is still closer than 6 miles, the program will be cancelled. If participants have completed one level of the course, no refunds will be given. If participants have not completed one level of the course, participants will be given a "rain check" and allowed to come back for another Fearless Friday program in the future.
Be sure to check your email and our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/teachteamwork) for last-minute updates about weather conditions and potential cancellation. If the program will be cancelled, we will notify you by email by 4:00pm. We will only cancel under dangerous conditions such as those listed above.
